Catholics In Action!
During the month of October, our Faith Formation and Youth Ministry program will be collecting loose change to support the Brady Faith Center in Syracuse, NY. The Brady Faith Center’s mission statement is to meet the spiritual, educational, and social needs of Syracuse’s Southwest Communities. The Ministry maintain a presence throughout the neighborhood, serving residents of all ages, through Eucharistic liturgies and human development, advocacy, educational and religious programs. As part of our efforts as Catholics, we continue to give of ourselves to those who are in far greater need than many of us – something as simple as loose change.
The boys will be racing the girls to fill water jugs with pennies/ loose change! The change will help the Brady Faith Center in many ways. Our goal is to purchase a much needed dishwasher and garbage disposal. It gives the kids a chance to participate in this ministry that truly makes a huge difference.
As we continue to move forward, please pray for all those who are benefiting from this ministry. May God’s love and peace continue to comfort them through us as we strive to be his hands!
